A few rule changes for 2008.
Minimum Weight Limit Has Been Raised to 760lbs.
New RR Air Pressures
*12 lbs. air in RR for 790 lbs. and over.
*18 lbs. now needed in RR for anyone running 760lbs to 789lbs
Junior RR tire pressure will remain at 15 lbs.
Valve Springs can be used in RR shock for added stability and to prevent rollover
in Atlantic City.
Only 1 valve per wheel.
Tires must be purchased from an Authorized Slingshot Dealer. Tire stampings will be checked as well as a possible new stamp being used.
No welded reinforcement on ANY wheel.
Carb. must remain stock appearing. NO material can be removed or added.
Intake manifold can be ground and polished to 5/8" above and below the carb. manifold spacer for 2008 instead of 1/2" previously ruled.
All casting marks must be visible and untouched
Juniors must run a 1 bbl. carb with .526 bore and no air flow modifications.
