Borgers to Host Roy Smith Memorial National,JR. National & Mid-Atlantic on Oct. 20th

Smith,Raidline & Heckman have made some adjustments to the purse structure and are using Time Trials as part of their qualifying for the Oct. 20th National. The race is being run as the The Roy Smith Memorial and will pay the winner $555.00.The Juniors will have their last chance to better their point standings with many Juniors never seeing Borgers planning on giving the tough 1/7th mile a shot. The Juniors must be between ages 8-13 and for some 14 years old, providing they started the season as a 13yr. old.The Juniors must be equipped with a 1 barrel carb and meet the 685 lb. weight limit minimum.Gates will open at 1:30 with hot laps beginning at 5 PM.
The National and Mid-Atlantic points are very close and with only the top 4 National Point races ,every spot will determine a lot of the final outcomes.
This will conclude the Touring season in the northeast, but a trip to Alabama for the final National Points event of the season could actually determine the 2007 National Champion. With weekly hometrack points now concluded, the Regional and National points still have yet to be decided.
