Keep the weekend of Oct 26-27th open as the Slingshot by Tobias National Tour will invade the Talladega Short Track as part of their Fall Jamboree.The 1/3rd mile high banked clay oval can host 5 big cars wide on the huge racing surface so there will plenty of racing room for the Slingshots that weekend.We will be part of a weekend of speed including all types of racing and a fan attendance that will be estimated in the thousands.Camping will be available and as part of this National offering tickets to the Talladega Racing Museum and Hall of Famequite possibly could be given to race teams when they sign-in.There is a 1/6th mile kart track but the Slingshots will be on the full blown 1/3 mi.Check out their website at www.talladegashorttrack.com.Race organizers Lynn Phillips and Alfred Gurley will be willing to answer any requests for other info.
